DIA DE LA JUVENTUD

Youth day was celebrated at Saint George’s College as the warmth of spring shared with us the first sun spells.
The event took place in the afternoon of September 23rd and students of middle and upper school, including teachers, were invited to enjoy a delicious shared lunch. We gathered as a big family in the patio of the school, and teachers and students were all the same outside the classrooms.
Casual clothing was worn and tables were arranged so we all could face each other. We had music on the background and we had the opportunity to dance and chat with students of different levels at school and with teachers who are always sharing special moments with us.
This event reinforced friendship and encouraged us to continue practicing values such as tolerance, solidarity, acceptance, cordiality and others. Let’s hope we can continue this life of sharing and collaborating with others which help us grow as men of right.
At the end of the day we were more than happy because we were given a special time to share with friends, and because this activity was a wonderful experience that we will always have in our minds. HAPPY YOUTH DAY!
